Introduction

Welcome to your North Lincolnshire Community Care Inform page.

These pages have been tailored to meet learning and development needs at a local level as well as enabling you to access the vast array of research articles, webinars, social work tools and models of practice available on Community Care Inform.

We have identified 5 specific categories to help you navigate your way through what is available to support your continuous professional development. These are-

  • Research, theories, and models of practice. In this section you can find, the Helping Children and Families in North Lincolnshire framework which sets out our local practice model and One Family Approach. There are also several other tools/resources to support relational and strengths-based practice.
  • Workforce Development Training Offer. In this section you can find several North Lincolnshire Toolkits to support practice including Risk outside the home (ROTH), Hidden Harm, Domestic Abuse, Family Help and Child Sexual Abuse. You will also find documents in relation to North Lincolnshire Children’s Multi-Agency Resilience and Safeguarding Board (CMARS) as well several Community Care Inform practice hubs with a range of materials to support your practice.
  • Learning from Practice. In this section you will find a variety of tools and materials to support your practice. These have been identified specifically to enhance practice and learning identified as required through a variety of quality assurance mechanisms such as case audit, DCS events and national research/reviews.
  • Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion. In this section you can access the Community Care Inform Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Hub where you can find resources to support good practice around equality, diversity and inclusion and applying anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive practice. You can watch world social workday 2023 Webinar on Intersectionality and inclusive Social Work Practice. This section will also be updated with resources shared in the North Lincolnshire Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Collaboration Network.
  • Assessed and Supported Year in Employment. This section supports the development of Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSW’s). There is a handy Quick Reads Hub with information and resources on a number of different topics including Attachment. Child Sexual Exploitation, Child Sexual Abuse, Direct Work, to name but a few.

We will also be introducing a feedback section so you can share any views and let us know what else you would find helpful.
