Introduction

In February 2023, we achieved an overall outcome of ‘Good’ following the Ofsted ILACS inspection, demonstrating sustained progress in the improvement of the practice system and continued momentum, from our Ofsted Inspection (ILACS) of 2019. It remains an objective and ambition to deliver the best possible outcomes for all children and young people in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

In our journey to become an outstanding authority, 12 practice areas have been identified in our quality of practice reviews, that need further strengthening across the practice system, in further developing the skills, knowledge and confidence of the workforce on our improvement journey
