Flintshire County Council: Family Intervention Team (FIT)

Introduction

The Family Intervention Team (FIT) is primarily responsible for all of the child protection work undertaken within Flintshire Children Services, whilst the children remain on the child protection register. Furthermore, the Family Intervention Team will be responsible for the oversight and management of most of the court applications made by children services teams. Cases will remain in the Family Intervention Team until a plan of permanence is identified.
