Louise Fox Louise Fox

Louise Fox is a social work manager for West Sussex County Council, managing the assessment and intervention service for the north of the county.

After gaining her first degree in social sciences, Louise worked in early years until 2003. She then qualified as a social worker with a Master’s degree from the University of Sussex in 2005.

During her social work career Louise has worked as a social worker and manager in child protection teams. From 2014 to 2016 she was the service development lead in West Sussex children’s social care and led on the implementation of practice models, primarily the Signs of Safety approach.

During this time she worked alongside Andrew Turnell, Susie Essex and Eileen Munro as part of a Department for Education innovation project with 10 local authorities. Louise also worked with Susie Essex (co-founder of Resolutions Consultancy) to implement safety planning in high-risk cases in West Sussex.

Louise is also an occasional lecturer at the universities of Sussex, Brighton and Chichester.
