Middlesbrough Council: key resources
Middlesbrough Children Matter
Middlesbrough Children Matter
As an organisation, Middlesbrough Council is committed to the professional development of all of its staff.
We promote a strong learning culture with the ambition of continually improving our practice and in turn, the outcomes for the children and families that we work with. We encourage employees to engage with our Learning and Development offer and in return, promise to support our staff in their development.
To complement our wider learning and development offer, this page of CC Inform has been tailored to meet the needs of staff in Children’s Care.
Middlesbrough Children’s Services will be holding their next Practice week in March with a focus on “Language that Cares” and “Equality and Diversity in Practice”. The week will be made up of a range of sessions which will be jointly attended with colleagues from Adults Services to champion our partnership working.
Further details on the weeks activities can be found on Middlesbrough Learns.
In addition to exploring this personalised page, we encourage all staff to be registered and engage with the wider CC Inform platform. The resources published and promoted by CC Inform help reduce risk for families and for organisations by ensuring social work professionals are able to make confident, robust and evidence-based decisions every day and defend those decisions competently in court. They are trusted, essential resources that save time, improve quality and support learning
