Meet the author: Brexit guides by Children and Families Across Borders (CFAB)

Carolyn Housman, CEO of Children and Families Across Borders (CFAB), introduces Community Care Inform’s guides to the impact of Brexit on care proceedings and local authorities’ responsibilities in relation to children’s citizenship and immigration status. The guides were written by CFAB senior legal advisor Maria Wright and senior social worker Fiona Robinson. Carolyn gives a brief introduction to CFAB’s role in social work with an international component, an example of the impact of Brexit on typical care cases, and what you will learn from these guides about how Brexit is affecting the legal framework in different areas of work with vulnerable children.
