These Regulations authorise OFSTED to disclose certain information obtained in connection with its childcare inspection functions, for example informing local authorities that a childcare provider’s registration has been cancelled or sharing, on request, information with child protection agencies.
These Regulations are made under sections 83 and 84 of the Childcare Act 2006.
