Peter Burke Peter Burke

Dr Peter Burke PhD is currently a member of the Service Users and Carers Group at Hull University, and was previously a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at the University of Hull in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

He has been involved in research concerning the social impact of disability on the family for over twenty years, initially stemming from personal family experiences.

An account of several of his research projects can be found in his book, ‘Disability and Impairment: Working with Children and Families’ (2008).
