Lissil Averill, Social Worker, London Borough of Camden

Lissil Averill completed her BA in social policy at Trinity College Dublin and went on to complete an MA in social work in the National University of Ireland, Galway. She has been a social worker in inner London since 2008, in child protection, looked after children and duty and assessment teams, and at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

She is currently studying towards a diploma in systemic family therapy and regularly contributes to the journal Critical Social Policy.
