Children and Young Persons Act 2008

Introduction

The Children and Young Persons Act 2008 introduces a wide range of reforms to the laws about children. It introduces a number of changes to a number of areas in the field, including looked-after children, caring for disabled children, private foster care and residence and special guardianship orders. To date, only some of the Act is in force.
