Introduction
This guidance has been written for mainstream practitioners, mainly social workers, who may not necessarily be specialists in the field of sexual offending, but nonetheless are in a position of having to conduct some form of initial assessment of an adult who has committed sexual offences, or who has some identified problem with his or her sexual behaviours.
